Surgery
In keeping with the founders principles, we continue to maintain meticulous standards and provide current yet affordable surgical care.
General Medicine
A dedicated physician and endocrinologist are available to handle medical consultations. A large volume of diabetes, GDM and thyroid disease are managed. General health check up and immunization for adults are also provided.
Anaesthesia
A team of qualified anesthetists provide anaesthetic support for the load of surgical cases.
Paediatrics and Neonatology
Paediatrics has been a part of the hospital since its inception. Today the third generation of
babies are coming here brought by grandparents who had brought their children decades ago.
Besides baby check ups and immunization, routine neonatal care is provided. A level 2
NICU is available at Unit 1. In Unit 2, a state of the art 10 bedded NICU is in place to take care of our high risk neonates.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Over the years, the antenatal care has grown in strength and numbers. Comprehensive antenatal care is offered by a team of doctors. Our obstetric consultants work as a group in what is possibly the only group practice system in Chennai. Our patients have the access to a qualified and experienced team of in house qualified specialists present round the clock.
Many high risk pregnancies are managed specifically for diabetes, preeclampsia and IUGR.
Lactation support for new mothers is offered by dedicated personnel.
General gynaecological problems are all managed and preventive gynecology is empahsiseed. Outpatient procedures are managed on a regular basis. Infertility work up and management upto IUI is offered.
Fetoscopy
In collaboration with Mediscan systems, the first fetoscopic unit in India was started in these premises. Today more than 100 fetoscopy procedures have been performed for complicated twin pregnancies referred from all over the country.
Ultrasound
Abdominal and pelvic ultrasound besides pregnancy scanning and follicular scanning are performed.
